SENTIMENTAL REUNION ... 2.

BILL (CONT'D)
Well, we wanted to find out more about this wonderful story...so we invited your sister, Jane, from right here in Los Angeles, to our studio office to be interviewed by a member of our production staff. She is right outside the studio this minute... she has no idea that she is going to be brought into the studio right now! All right, pass the signal for Jane to be brought in here! (CONTROL BOOTH DOOR OPENS... JANE ENTERS) Come right out here, Jane. Your name is Jane de Mille now. We've just been talking to Mayfield, your brother... with whom you were reunited last month after 22 years apart. We tricked you into coming down to the studio for this interview this morning. I'll bet it was a great day for you when you found Mayfield and learned that Mary was now living in Flint. And whatta day it was when you saw Mayfield for the first time in 22 years. Now we asked you to bring a picture of Mary that she sent you a short time ago. Do you have it? (SHE HANDS IT TO HIM) This is a picture of Mary back in Flint. We know you've been corresponding with each other ever since you heard from her. And we know how you've been planning to visit with her. Well, Mary... we didn't trick you down here just for the interview and we don't really need the picture. You were just 4 years old and Mary was just 3 the last time you saw each other 22 years ago. We got in touch with Mary... and we flew her to Hollywood last night... and here she is! (THE GOLDS GO UP... AND MARY STOMPS ONTO THE SCENE, WAILING AND THE LIKE. IT IS INSPIRING.) And, Mayfield... you come on down here. This is your big day, too. You haven't seen Mary for 22 years either!
